Celebrating Mom's Birthday at the Beach!

Whew!  It's been a few days since I have posted and that's because life has been pretty busy!  Thursday night I volunteered to help at JWA's Big Night Out! Robert couldn't attend because of stuff for work, so I thought it would be fun to volunteer instead and still meet my membership requirement. Always a plus! JWA is the Junior Women's Association of Greenville. We are working to affiliate with the Junior League national organization and hopefully that will happen in the next few years! I was a new member this year and I have enjoyed getting involved and meeting some amazing women! Here are a few pictures of the event! Heather and me-- Cant wait to meet her bundle of joy! Memorial Day Weekend Relaxation

My husband and I were planning to go the the beach this weekend to celebrate memorial day weekend with my family as well as my moms birthday, however we decided to stay put here in Greenville because the weatherman was calling for horrible weather. Unfortunately, the weather folks were completely wrong and it ended up being a beautiful weekend at the beach but that's okay because we are headed to the beach this weekend to do a little belated birthday celebrating for my momma! I think almost all of my family will be there, which always means a wild and crazy time!  Since we decided to stay in Greenville for the weekend, it meant lots of quality time together. We also spent some time running errands, shopping, boating, cleaning, napping and enjoying downtime which rarely happens at our house.
