I just got a text from my godbrother who recently lost his grandmother to breast cancer, and I wanted to share it with yall. Josh said "Not sure if you meant it but in your stuff about lung cancer being forgotten in the last few days, you come off as very... I dont know the best way to put it but the most polite is probably desensitized to breast cancer. I get what you are trying to get across but other might not. It seems very close to, "Forget breast cancer. Thats not even the worst one." Just thought I would let you know so you dont allienate a potential proponent for awareness because they get turned off." Celebrating Mom's Birthday at the Beach!

Whew!  It's been a few days since I have posted and that's because life has been pretty busy!  Thursday night I volunteered to help at JWA's Big Night Out! Robert couldn't attend because of stuff for work, so I thought it would be fun to volunteer instead and still meet my membership requirement. Always a plus! JWA is the Junior Women's Association of Greenville. We are working to affiliate with the Junior League national organization and hopefully that will happen in the next few years! I was a new member this year and I have enjoyed getting involved and meeting some amazing women! Here are a few pictures of the event! Heather and me-- Cant wait to meet her bundle of joy! NEW Den Furniture!

Robert and I have been together as a couple 9 years. Hard to believe. Married 3. In those nine years we have lived in a duplex, bought our first home in 2011 and then recently purchased a larger home in 2015 in our dream neighborhood. Through all of those years we have pieced furniture together, hand-me-downs from friends and family, thrift stores, yard sales ect. There have been a few staple pieces we've splurged on (especially our mattress, i'm embarrassed by how much money we spent on that thing), but mainly we haven't bought anything new. When we moved into our new house we went from a 1200 sqft home to an almost 3000 sqft home. To say we needed more furniture was an understatement. Rooms were bare but I told Robert to be patient and that over time we would add additional things and that it would all come together. At times furniture didn't match, there was no theme or style of the rooms and they looked down right horrible, but I refuse to go in debt over fur...
